Cooking Kosher Around the World

Enjoy Kosher Food Around the World

About & Welcome

Hi there. If you’re here, you:

A) Want to cook kosher or already cook kosher

B) Are interested in other cuisines

C) are here by mistake

If you answered A or B, you’re in the right place. If you answered C, this may not have been what you were looking for, but may be interesting to you nonetheless.

Are you tired of making the same old recipes? Do you want to be adventurous? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you’re still in the right place.

Did anyone ever have an international party? I had one when I was quite young combined with a countries project.

Wait a minute you’ve never had or been to an international party you say? You want to know what it is?

An international party is where you have foods from all over the world, all sorts of cuisines and cultures.

When I was young some countries included France, Italy, China etc. and people brought in foods to do with their country. I’m trying to do something similar by sharing recipes from around the world, but I’m including cultures and regions.

I’d also like this to be a participatory blog meaning that everyone can be an active participant (or even guest poster (after being approved)) by sharing recipes from their culture, region etc. Suggestions, questions and comments are welcome.

I’d also like if we can change up recipes to make them healthier.

Oh yeah, one other requirement: recipes need to be made kosher, so for example if a recipe has pork in it, I would see if maybe I can make the recipe using turkey or chicken, or if a recipe that has meat or chicken in it uses milk, I would substitute a non-dairy milk. Got it, you can substitute to make a recipe kosher. So now if you would like to be guest blogger and  share some of your culture or a story (yeah just anything, it’s pretty laid back around here.)
